Gil the Stitched Clown

Before the others were pieced together, there was Gil. The first stitch, the original mistake that proved the pattern worked. Everything that followed learned from him — how to hold together, how to hide the seams, and how to smile through it.

This premium, two-piece stitched clown costume is constructed using matching themed fabrics in layered shades of black, blue, red, grey, and white. Hand-stitched patches are arranged throughout the suit to create a fractured, vintage silhouette with visible seams and texture. The detachable ruffled collar is made from black-and-white pinstripe fabric with pointed tips, layered over a ruffle of black-and-red fleck tulle. Pointed detailing is repeated along each sleeve for continuity. Three oversized, detachable variegated pom-poms in black/red, white/red, and white/black combinations complete the front of the suit. A miniature matching top hat accessory is included to finish the look.
